²² At that time, Abimelech with Phicol, the head of his army, said to Abraham, “God is with you in all that you do. ²³ So promise me here by God that you will not work against me, or my son, or any children after me. I have shown you kindness. So return kindness to me and to the land where you have come.” ²⁴ Abraham said, “I promise.”
